This CA Firebird is completely rust free and while it is not perfect by any means it's a strong, low mileage street machine. This thing gets rubber into second gear! The car has some cosmetic issues but is a beast mechanically and the low miles and good history are a plus. Here's a great candidate for someone who does not want to pay a premium for a perfect car and THEN go and spend a bunch of money customizing it. It is also a great driver as it is. Please review the 80+ photos below including several of the undercarriage where you can see the car has no corrosion and also that it has never been damaged. THE BAD-Car has several blemishes, chips and scratches in the paint, a small dent below the gas cap and a dent on the right side rocker panel, all of these items have been touched up and the car looks good from 10 feet away but up close you can see the various imperfections in the finish-Glass is all clear but there is some fine weathering-Headlamps go up and down properly but need to be recalibrated as they buzz for a brief second when closing-Fuel gauge is a bit off (by about 1/16th)-Headliner is intact but showing some deterioration around the t-top openings-Driver's seat has a small tear in the seat base-Plastic dash pad broke due to being brittle and rather buy a new one we fitted a custom cover to conceal the missing panel, 99% of anyone who looks will not notice-Radio does not turn on-Missing 7 of 10 plastic lug-covers on passenger side wheels-Keyless remote needs a battery-Rear hatch struts do not hold up glass/hatch-Some weathering on the top portion of the rear tail-lamps THE GOOD-Very strong runner, fast starting engine, quiet and powerful, does not exhibit any leaks, no smoking from exhaust-Transmission shifts perfectly-No check engine light on in dash-Rear end is not noisy-Has the inside covers for the t-tops-Power windows and locks, rear hatch release all work-Has a brand new battery-A/C is nice and cold-Smells nice inside, no tobacco, pet or musty odors-Nice low miles-Good tires, different brands from front to back but correct size and great tread remaining (65-70%)-Car is really fun to drive and sails down the freeway really well-100% rust free so servicing the car is easy as there is no corrosion hampering that-Clean CarFax showing no emissions fails or accidents-Clean/clear title with 'actual miles' and no 'brands'-Car is all original with no performance modifications or jacked up electronics, stereos, etc. Exactly how you want to find one!
