I am the original owner - purchased new Nov. 30, 1996.and very well taken care of -the good news: service records available; leather interior (minor wear), body (ding on right front wheel well arch), engine, glass, wheels all in very good shape - very nice driver. Also have all original documentation, toolset, roof rack, headlamp wiper blades and some manuals.I bought this car in Canada and moved to Texas 2 years later so no rust anywhere and I also have the parts to return to a Canadian model (speedo in km.)The bad news - has slow power steering leak (top up every couple of days); rear transmission bearing for rear wheel drive makes a noise when cold - (removed the rear wheel driveshaft to make it go away so now it is regular front wheel drive) if you want to return it to 4 wheel drive you will need to replace the bearing - driveshaft is just 4 bolts at each end and takes a few minutes to re-install. Knurled shaft on wiper motor is worn so wiper slips - best to replace with refurbished wiper motor - about $125 bucks used). Plastic gear on odometer broke but I have the replacement part. I love this car, wanted to spend some time to fix it up and hate to part with it but my son just bought a new vehicle and does not drive this anymore, my job is killing my spare time and it has been sitting in my driveway for 3 months now. Inspection is still current. Rims and interior alone are worth about $1500 as parts but I cannot bear to part out such a nice car. Open to offers if you can give it a good home! Pick up preferred but if you are less than a half day's drive away I could drive it up to you for cost of gas and return trip rental car or I can arrange shipping at your cost. $200 no-refundable Paypal deposit required within 24 hours.
