The car being auctioned off is a Ford Mustang Boss 429. This car was assigned KK 2261. The car was purchased in Tampa, FL back in 1984. The vehicle was brought to Manatee County, FL and was put into storage. The car has remained in storage the entire time since then. The engine and transmission are numbers matching. The motor does not run and does not turn over but is the original numbers matching engine. The vehicle as you can see in the photos will need a considerable amount of work and would be considered a project car. The body does have rust and I have tried to show it in the pictures. The pillars, tail panel, and cowl do have rust. As well as a few spots on the floor pans but there are no holes in the floor. There is also a fair amount of surface rust as can be seen in the photos. There are no signs of major damage or repairs other than on the passenger door exterior. A replacement tail panel, door and hood are included. The car is not complete and is being sold as is with all you see in the photos. If there are any other photos you would like to see let me know and I will get them to you.
