I bought this beautiful sporty pickup from my neighbor across the street in June of 2006. It had only 29,000 miles. He had bought it from our local dealer here in Walnut Creek California when he retired. He put a shell on it so he could go to As baseball games, get a parking spot and sleep until the game. It had a mattress in the back when I bought it. His license was revoked at 85. It sat in his garage for 5 years until his son sold it to me. I took out the Spark Plugs, squirted in some oil, turned it over after putting a new battery in. Reinstalled the plugs, added gas , he had started it once a month until it ran out of gas. it started right up. I used it to haul my Bicycle to riding places only. It has never been used for truck work. I am retiring from work as a Jaguar Mechanic and quitting Bicycle riding also , too dangerous. I bought a Mercedes and need the garage space for it. It has always been garaged. I would rather sell it than have it just sit out in the elements and start it once a month. I just put a new battery in her so the new owner would have no issues. The Sr5 with the 22R-E engine is famous for going 300,000 miles with no problems. The most reliable pickup ever made. It was made with the Factory Options of : Apperance Package with the Chrome Trim and Grill. Power Windows, Cruse Control, Intermittent Wipers, Sport Bucket Seats, Tilt Steering Wheel , Center Console, top of the line Interior Package, Map or reading Lights, Power Antenna,Full Gauge Package with Clock , Double Wall Bed , Chrome Bumpers, power Steering and Brakes Metalic Blue Paint with Clear Coat , Spotr valence under the bumper and the most important thing a 22R-E Fuel Injected Engine with a 5 Speed Transmission. It is completely Original except for the Clear lens Headlights with 100 watt high beams , Jvc Stereo so I can listen to Pandora. new battery, radial T/A tires on the back . It's been tuned up and new Spark Plug Wires added. Sliding back window, the original comes with if wanted. Muffler was replaced. I have all new hoses from the dealer, for when they need to be replaced. The paint has never been touched up. It has current California Registration until May 30th. A clear title and Car Fox Report. I will give you the Vin Number if requested, so you can run a report. The Truck has always had all services performed when due. Oil has been changed with Mobile 1 ever 3000 miles. The interior is near Perfect!! All body panels line up perfectly, even the gas door. No Body Rust whatsoever. There are some small scratches and dings, a lot less than you would think for a truck, let alone a 32 year old one. The Shell Bill had on it had rubber that rubbed the paint in a few places on the back of the cab. Original Paint has never been touched up. I would drive this Truck anywhere in the world and not have a worry. We drove it on a week vacation to Colorado last year and got 25 miles per gallon !! I will help load the truck on to a transporter if necessary. I live on a one lane road in the woods , will have to meet the Transport truck a mile away at the store, no problem.
