She has a smooth, strong, running, solid, 3.5L, V6 engine mated to a smooth shifting, 4-speed, shiftable, automatic, transmission. This 6-passenger sedan has a pleasant ride as evidenced when I personally drove her to the picture shoot. She stable on the highway and easy to drive around town, the air conditioning is ice cold the heater works properly as well. Headroom, elbowroom and legroom are abundant up front. On the inside, the "Neutral" leather interior is in very good condition, no rips, smells like new, no dash pad cracks. In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Chevrolet Impala earned five stars (out of five) for driver and front-passenger protection in frontal impacts and four stars for side-impact protection.
