My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Volvo C70 convertible with just 85k original miles. The C70 is the coupe / convertible version of the tried and true S70 / V70 sedans and wagons. These are truly great driving cars. I would rate the exterior of this C70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see from the photos, this is a gorgeous convertible. It is finished in dark blue over gray leather interior with a matching blue soft top. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The convertible top shows well for it's age and isn't excessively worn. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how exceptionally clean this C70 came in. This low mileage C70 is originally from Florida, where it was driven just 11k miles. It then came up to PA and has been driven sparingly ever since. I would rate the interior of this C70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a little wear from age, but are acceptable. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are power operated and heated. All seats are soft, supple and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The power convertible top raises and lowers automatically with the touch of a button. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is the original Premium Sound with in-dash CD changer and sounds great. Pride in ownership shows throughout this low mileage C70. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this C70 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. If I had to make one complaint about this car, it's that I feel like the steering is a little weird at full lock...like when you're turning into a parking space. Maybe it's just me...but I don't think it feels quite right. Otherwise, I don't have a single bad thing to say. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. I've personally put the last 100 miles on this car with no problems. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with not a single complaint. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of May, 2017. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean C70 that hasn't been all used up, this gorgeous 2004 should be at the top of your list. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
