Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 2005 Saab 9-3 2.0T ARC Convertible This may well be the absolute best condition 9-3 for sale right now. It is rare to find a 12-year-old vehicle for sale that needs absolutely nothing. This car is in 100% mechanical & structural condition, and in 99% cosmetic condition (more about that 1% below). This Lime Yellow ARC Convertible is all original paint, has never been wrecked, and has matching VIN stickers on all body parts. The body is perfectly straight, and has zero door dings on the sides. The only paintwork on the car was a repaint of the rear deck spoiler. Many of these spoilers were dealer installed and not painted as well as the factory paint. This one was repainted by a previous owner, and the shade is very slightly off. The metallic yellow-green color is likely very hard to match, as it looks different in different lights. As such, the mis-match is very slight, and only a very tiny number of people would ever notice. On the hood near the left-most washer nozzle is a very slight imperfection. I tried to photo it, but could not get the angle. It is one of those “have to catch it a certain way to even see it” things. One reflector on rear bumper is cracked. Brand new Saab medallions on hood and trunk. All lights work perfectly. Not a speck of rust anywhere. None of the minor cosmetic issues mentioned takes away from the fact that this is a gorgeous car. The eye-catching paint, along with the flawless black fabric top and the brand new gunmetal colored wheels really makes this a handsome vehicle. Top is in perfect condition, recently treated with 303 fabric top treatment. The power top works perfectly. Interior is a dark/medium gray. Much like the exterior, it is near flawless. The heated, powered leather front seats are in perfect condition, and the rears look like they have never been used. Carpet is in amazingly good condition, with only the driver’s side mat showing any wear. Unlike most Saabs of this vintage, you will not have a problem with peeling paint on all the HVAC buttons. I replaced the HVAC buttons with new less than 3000 miles ago. The radio buttons are fine. The only button that does show some wear is the “Clear” button for the dash top display. Steering wheel buttons all in nice shape and work perfectly. Car has OEM AUX input in center console. I added the OEM Homelink/compass mirror. Trunk is as new, with a space saver a spare and toolkit under the carpet floor. All original owners manuals. Mechanically it needs nothing. New ignition coils and spark plugs less than 3000 miles ago. I will do a fresh Mobil 1 oil change before the car is sold. Turbo works great, transmission shifts as it should. Wheels are 17 inch Gunmetal colored alloys from TireRack. Saab center caps. Shod with Pirelli P7 all-season performance radials. Tire/wheels installed 3000 miles ago. The notorious sway bar links also recently replaced so no noises from the suspension. Clean GA title in seller’s name. Two keys. Only one is coded to the car. A Saab shop can easily do this. I’m the only one who drives the car, so I’ve never bothered getting the second key coded. Overall, a near showroom level car with zero issues. Feel comfortable driving this one across country, you will have zero issues. Car is located near metro Atlanta, and can be inspected by potential bidders. Please ask any questions.
