I love this car, really, yet the engine has a problem even though it starts easily, runs well and makes full power. I think it has a bad piston and/or bad cylinder, as the engine makes a “clacking sound”, not a rod knock sound, so the crank is fine. I think it’s going to go completely yet it runs and drives awesomely – just a little noisy, yet you don’t hear it from the inside of the car. I wish I had time to fix it. I was going to put a 911 engine in it or I was going to do an LS swap, but I have already bought another Porsche. I've just decided to let it go with no reserve. My loss is your gain. This would make an awesome project car. This is one of the nicest Cayman S's around. It’s super dark metallic green that looks black in all weather conditions except direct sunlight when it’s a beautiful dark metallic green with the cashmere leather – perfect combo. At night it looks awesomely black. It’s a very rare color. I’ve never seen a nicer paint, color or metal flake on a car before. It’s stunning. It’s like having 2 cars in one. This is the fast Cayman, the Cayman S with the 3.4L engine, not the 2.7L. It has 295 hp with the 6 speed manual transmission. It’s a super clean car and everything works – the wing, the stereo which is awesome … Has the original Porsche floor mats The options, conditions and mileage list is as follows: 35K original miles!
