I have for sale a 1996 passat tdi 5 speed wagon. Have owned it about 4 years. Car has around 376,000 miles on the odometer, will go up drive it daily. Previous owner ran vegetable oil threw it, but replaced the engine and ran new fuel line, so we don't really know how many miles are on the engine. Runs good, drives good. has a tune on i,t don't remember what tune it is. Will need new axles. Going into first is a little hard when moving. Blows blue smoke out of the exhaust when cold, but stops shortly after. Clear coat on top is peeling. It has been repainted at some point in it's life. We have a lot of parts for it. Don't know how long ago the timing belt was replaced. Have work manuals for it. There are a few dings and scratches on it. And a bad clear bra on the front part of hood and mirrors. There is a really slow coolant leak somewhere. The driver side headlight only only goes to parking light brightness. Tires are close to the end of their life span. Fuel gauge doesn't work. Can only unlock the car from passenger side. Both front windows have been changed to manual nether work. We have an extra rim like the ones on the car. We have 4 new heavy duty shocks for it.
