My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Saab 9-3 Turbo with the desirable 5 speed manual transmission. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in a medium blue over gray leather interior. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As with most older vehicles, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific 9-3, there are a few scratches across the roof and two small spots of rust (one each side behind the trim by the back tire). There is a faded spot or two on the roof, too. The paint shines nicely for it's age, though. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and hatch all open and close easily. All of the body trim is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Saab to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age, too. Both front seats are heated and show well for their age. The only noteworthy wear to point out is that the right side of the front passenger's seat is separating at the stitching, as shown in the photos. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and still works well. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is cavernous and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Saab 9-3 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are okay. Like most older Saab's, the front bushings are worn out and should be replaced...so you can feel that the front end isn't as tight as it should be. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and really lays on the power. Aside from an airbag light that stays on, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the desirable five speed manual transmission are smooth and precise, as they should be. My only complaint is that the 3rd gear synchronizer is getting weak so it "scratches" when you go into 3rd gear. Out on the highway, she drives nicely and gets excellent fuel economy. Again, you'll want to address the worn front bushings sooner than later...but the car feels solid, otherwise. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Our normal business hours are Friday and Saturday from 9am - 2pm. Other days and time are available by appointment. Please contact us in advance to make an appointment to come pick up your vehicle so that we can accommodate you when you arrive. Full payment is due within 7 days from the end of the auction. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin. We are a PennDOT issuing agent and are happy to provide low cost title / tag services to Pennsylvania Residents. *For Out-Of-State Residents, we offer a PennDOT 30 day In-Transit Tag to legally drive your vehicle to your home state.
