Signed US Customs documents approving this vehicle for entry into the US are included with the sale.This 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero is in great running shape.Mechanically the engine and drivetrain are functioning great. The engine fires up from cold well with the use of the choke. The idle is steady and the gear changes are smooth and direct. Power comes on quickly thanks to the quick spooling intercooled turbo that generates great low-end torque. The engine does not overheat and the fluids are clean and tight. The tires are in good shape as well as the brakes that are working great. This Pajero pulls well on the freeway and has no problem keeping up with traffic. The 4x4 system operates great and goes in and out of 4x4 mode with ease. A cool feature on this Pajero is the electronic locking rear differential which can be activated on the fly from the drivers seat. The timing belt was also changed at 117k kms in Japan.The exterior is in decent shape, only suffering from minor cosmetic imperfections like peeling clear coat on the roof, small scratches, and a golf ball sized dent on the passenger side rear door. The front fog lights are missing which would have been attached to the front bumper. The body is free of rust in the critical areas around the wheel arches, frame, and floor boards. A tow hitch is installed for multiple uses.The interior is nice and complete. Features include power windows, power locks, electronic locking differential, off-road tilt monitors on the dash, idle bump control, and power mirrors. The dual radios are non-functioning, and the sunroof does not retract. The rear seats have a stain, and the carpet is dirty in some areas.
