1971 Jeep Cj5 Special ordered Aug 1970 I am the son of the original owner ! Very first yr of many changes by Jeep AMC Kaiser Body ! Cost after all the upgrades in special order $4300 spendy in 1970 1st year of 4spd , rear gas tank! Came special ordered with these upgradesGas tank skid plateHeavy duty springsBoxed in frame at spring mounts A dauntless 225 cubic inch Buick v6 engineHeadersWarn 8000lb winch with inside and out controlsSpicer front end posi DANA 25 LIMITED SLIP POSI REARDual exhaust front of rear tire exitThis Jeep has been well taken care of New or recently replaced you name it Been around it since I was 4 years old , was his and my pride and joy!IT IS IN BETTER SHAPE THAN EVER ,IT IS all original except seats ! Cloth top and few things like parts that wear out coil plug wires etcHas so very little cancer in the body for 46 years old the worst spot is just under the V6 on passenger side ( painted with black rustoleum ) the other black you can see was just because ! Motor uses little oil ! Never smokes and the engine has to be run on premium fuel cause of high compression ! It will diesel if not on cheap fuel !!! It's only on the 3rd set of tires I know this they were new in 2013 3000 miles on them -Kelly TSR 10 ply mud and snow tread,Very emotional sale But I am becoming disabled more and more with MSSo with that I will stop .If you wanna ask questions I'm sure I can answer them about this old friend !BTW this a very torque Jeep It's a real Jeep not just one to drive around on the pavement in town and look good it's is a off road workhorse !
