The highly acclaimed 3.5L V6 engine, producing 255 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque, is part of the VQ engine series that has won praise as one of the “Ten Best Engines” from Ward’s Auto World magazine for nine consecutive years. The engine’s advanced design includes continuous variable timing control, a silent timing chain and electronically controlled throttle. The engine has no issues, is in good shape mechanically, starts right up, is solid and strong. Mated to the engine is a 4-speed automatic, transmission that shifts smooth, with ease and on time. This I35 is a quiet, luxury sedan that provides a smooth, soft, absorbent ride yet provides great control. Road, wind and engine noise are almost unnoticed.
