I was going to take a UBER ride back to my residence when my mechanic offered to lend me this beautiful Mercedes E430 4/door sedan. I was so impressed with this car that when I went back a couple of days later to pick up one of my cars that I ended up buying this Mercedes. You could have purchased a brand new 2001 reasonably well-equipped E430 for about $55,000. Add heated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, a voice-activated cell phone, and the $4090 Sport package (with AMG-designed body cladding, projector fog lights, and beefy five-spoke alloy wheels mounted on 235/45ZR-17 Goodyear Eagle F1s) would have raised the price to$62,929. This sedan has excellent performance numbers and its 4.3-liter, three-valve, single-overhead-camshaft V-8 was ultra-conservatively rated at 275 horsepower. It drives like a car with 3900 miles...certainly not like one would expect a car with 139,000 to drive. The prior owner spent 1000's of dollars recently to make this E430 look and run perfect. Among the receipts are a complete new air-conditioning system that is ICE cold, new brakes & rotors all around, new steel belted radial tires and a new charging system. This Mercedes has a $2000 built in custom radar system that scrambles police radar and sends back an undetectable reading false reading...frankly, I was tempted to remove the system and put it in a McClaren F1 but it will stay with this car When new, this car had an MSRP over $62,000.
