Very cool looking 2000 Honda Shadow VLX 600 Runs good. Listed below are things I think that are wrong with the bike. Tire tread is good front and rear but front tire has some cracking on sidewalls. Front fork seals leak a little. The choke handle bracket is broken so it does not stay set in the holder. I just place it in the holder when I need choke to start the bike. Does not affect operation. Previous owner had license plate held on by wire connected to one exhaust. This cut a slit in the one exhaust pipe end. Gives it a nice sound actually and since NJ does not inspect motorcycles I just left it. You can see it in the pics. All the way by exhaust tip. The water temp light does not come on when key is turned to power. I diagnosed this to the sending unit. I have a new sending unit I will include in the sale. Bike never got hot and cooling fan works fine. Does not have rear (under the rear fender) license plate bracket or reflector. Brakes work fine but I was going to replace front pads. Will also include these in sale. Will also include a cover that is in pretty good shape with a small tear on the top. Bike had new spark plugs, new oil filter, new air filter, oil change about 500 miles ago. Battery was new at that time also. I have a fuel filter I was going to install I will include also. Will also include Tool Kit and Honda Shadow Maintenance Book. All in all a cool old Honda Shadow . If you have any other questions please ask. If I think of anything else I will post here.
