This very rare Defender 130 Double Cab Pickup is for sale as a running and driving project truck. Year listed as 1980 because eBay will not recognize UK VIN numbers. The VIN is SALLDKHF7HA905721 the truck is located near Cleveland Ohio, was legally imported and has a clear Ohio title. The vehicle needs either new doors or welding on all doors. A new set can be had for about $1500 plus the cost of shipping, that would be the best option in my opinion. At minimum the front seats need to be rebuilt for the interior to be serviceable. The rear seats are plain vinyl but are in good condition. All four interior door panels are included, they were removed to inspect the doors and were not re-installed.The engine starts immediately even on cold days and runs smoothly, there is an exhaust leak between the turbo mounting flange and the exhaust manifold. The paint could stand to be re-done, there is aluminum corrosion in some areas along with scratches from use. The frame has surface corrosion and would benefit from a rust conversion treatment and a coat of paint. There is a nice rock slider installed on the left side of the vehicle, the matching slider for the right side is included. this is the way I bought it and I have not investigated whether or not any additional mounting hardware is required to mount the other slider. There is some rust in the bulkhead, the drivers side footwell needs a small repair as do both top corners where the windshield attaches. This vehicle does have a few options including power steering, power brakes, a towing package, and a Webasto fuel burning heater. I am selling this because I have too many projects going on at the moment. I have a source for all of the parts required to complete the project and I would be happy to assist the buyer in locating anything needed. The engine starts and runs well, the brakes are the best I've had on a defender, and the power steering works as it should without excess noise or leaks. The transmission shifts smoothly and stays in gear, and the clutch take up is even without grabbing or slipping.
