Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT with Pearl White premium paint , 22’s rims, Sunroof, Auto Level and Navigation. I believe it has every option Cadillac offered except the rear DVD player (one is in the front) and the power running boards. (If you know of an available factory option your looking for and its not listed or pictured please ask and I will check. Some of options are Heated and cooled seats, rear heat and entertainment, parking sensors, rear view camera (shows on Navigation screen when in reverse). I have owned this Fabulous auto for 2 3/4 years. I began an extensive refurbishment at 100,000 mile after shopping new vehicles and deciding to keep this truck (which is really good looking) near the end of the project my wife and I decided we wanted a bigger boat (1,500 pounds to 15,000 pounds), and I moved to a Ram 2500 Cummings Diesel. Being OCD I could not leave the project uncompleted! From the look on the face of the mechanic who was told to inspect and fix EVERYTHING nobody on this planet inspects and fix’s cars before they are sold. I also drove the Truck and knew everything that was wrong made a list and checked it off. Since its purchase maintenance logs have been kept. All the maintenance required or soon to be required maintenance (in a few thousand miles) is completed. My chief complaint of the vehicle had been a vibration at high speed (80+). This lead to the replacement of all four tires at 92,183 miles. At 98,000 new shocks and front bearings were added. You would think that would have fixed it. No it was not! In 2008 GM cut corners and shipped all these vehicles with good looking but substandard rims. Consequently they are “soft” and will not hold a balance after a few hundred miles. I put identical looking rims but upgraded to proper quality over substandard OEM rims. The rims look identical but weigh a lot more. An old rim was saved and will come with the vehicle. Rims have under 5,000 miles on them. This vehicle will deliver the velvet smooth ride the Cadillac’s are famous for. The vehicle found its way to the paint shop, where the tailgate had the heavy wear areas repainted. (the very top of the tail gates trashed pretty easy pulling things in and out of the truck bed). The front grill and rear view mirrors were touched up from rock chips. The upholstery shop replaced the left seat side of the driver’s seat. Getting in and out of the driver’s seat creates heavy wear in this area on this truck. Every switch knob dial or system works. Very cold AC. NO Oil LEAKS! Thanks for looking.
