Original 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 XL with the original 289 2 barrel, Power Steering and C4 Cruise o Matic Transmission. This Fairlane retains the Original paint and interior. The interior has the Bucket seats with floor console. The seats are in amazing condition with no rips or tears. Car has the original headliner and dash pad(with a crack). I have removed the original carpet to be replace with new. The floor Boards are excellent with no rust I was able to keep the original floor sound deadener all around expect the PS front floor area(after removing carpet). This was a 2 owner car, Original Owner bought the Fairlane new drove in high school for a while then put up in a garage and later passed away. The paint color is Sahara Beige with Black interior, bucket seats, console. The car has some small dings/dents and scratches but again no rust on bottom of doors, quarters, fenders, floor pans, drop offs, frame rail, trunk. This car is in excellent original condition!!! The front Bumper chrome is in great original condition along with all other chrome and stainless trim. The rear PS quarter has been touched up from a very small dent mall dent from the original owner nearly 50years ago. Again the paint is original and has never been repainted. Doors shut like a new car, window and quarter glass roll up and down with no issues and window felts/weatherstripping are original but still in good shape. I Have replaced the trunk weatherstrip and various other seals that needed to be replaced. The Wheels and tires are newer put on by the previous owner along with headers and flow master exhaust. The car has a CD/Radio under the dash and 3 mechanical gauge pod. The inside is like new, this is a very rare car to find in this shape. The Engine Compartment has been cleaned with new battery, battery tray, Solenoid, Regulator, Valve Cover gaskets, Spark plugs and wires. I Have the build sheet I found under the carpet. The Original Owners manual and original hazard light that can be plugged into the lighter come with the car. The gas gauge, backup lights, taillights, door panel lights, dome light, dash lights, turn signal and emergency flashers all work. I Also have The OEM ford keys. The car has 89,524 actual miles drives well. This Fairlane is in overall excellent condition and it would very hard to find another 1966 with original paint and interior that you can say is a real survivor. I had off the car when I took the photos outside on a nice day. The grille is back on the car and is in excellent original condition along with the original headlight bezels and original chrome bumper and turn signal lenses. I have cleaned and re-conditioned the original horns, hood latch, battery tray, wiring harnesses in engine compartment, heater and radiator hoses, wiper fluid bag(NOS) and hoses.
