Offered for sale is my Adventure-Tourer Suzuki V-Strom 1000. This is the 2012 Adventure model that came from Suzuki with the detachable side luggage and the detachable top box. All luggage is lockable and includes two sets of keys. This V-Strom is mostly stock, with the following additions to make it safer and comfortable: 1) Hepco-Becker side guards, 2) Rox 1.5" handle bar riser, 3) LED tail light bulbs, 4) Bar end weights in red (a little bit of bling), 5) LED front turn signals and LED flasher, 6) 43 Tooth rear sprocket, 7) Speedometer face replaced to correct speed, 8) New Avon Distancia front tire in September 2017, 9) Front fork brace. The PA inspection is good until July 2017. The bike has the new Suzuki CDI programmer and iradium spark plugs installed by a Suzuki recall, and also has the recall done for the voltage regulator. With the new factory programmer, there is no need for an aftermarket power programmer. The only thing I can see needed is a new rear tire in the next 1000 miles. I loved touring with this bike. It is smooth, handles any road with its long travel suspension, is plenty fast, and consistently gave 47 MPG. Because of the fun I got from this bike, I am replacing it with a new Adventure-style bike. If you have any questions, let me know.
