Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Strong 289 3 speed New wheels and tires Runs strong Rebuilt engine Nice and solid driver car $$ SELLING NO RESERVE $$ You are looking at a really nice 1966 mustang coupe. This is a nice little driver quality coupe. The car fires right up and runs good and strong. The 289 engine in the car was rebuilt about 4000 miles ago and definitely had some performance work done because its runs good and is quick and strong. The transmission shifts smoothly also. The transmission is a factory 3 speed ford transmission with an 8" rearend. The body of the car is overall solid with no signs of rust or body filler. The paint has a nice shine and appears to be no more than a few years old. A lot of the chrome trim has been replaced such as new bumpers, windshield trim, tail light bezels etc.The floor pans and undercarriage is all solid. The body is overall very straight. The doors, trunk, and hood all shut nice and tight and line up very good. There is no signs of body filler or rust bubbling in the paint anywhere that I can see.The interior is overall nice and original. The seats are nice with no big tears or rips. The headliner is in very good condition The carpet is also in good condition. The rear package tray is new with no holes cut out for speakers yet. The stereo does work but I didn't hook the rear speakers back up after replacing the rear package tray. The console has been cut to accommodate the 3 speed manual shifter. Not sure why it was done unless the console was for an automatic car and not a manual. The trunk area in the car is very nice and the trunk floor pans are nice and solid. No rust. The rear frame rails are also very good. The paint looks good with no noticeable scratches, dents or dings. I wouldn't consider it a $5,000 show quality paint job but is does look nice and certainly above average driver quality with a very nice finish. There is an exhaust leak at the header - exhaust pipe connection. New 16" Cragger Mag Wheels and new tires.Any questions please call 843-321-2802 or feel free to come and view the car in person. This car does come with a clear title.International buyers are more than welcome and I will work with you to arrange shipping. The car is sold as is with no warranty. Any deposit that is given is non refundable unless otherwise worked out by the buyer and seller. Full payment can be made in cash, certified check, or wire transfer. Certified checks now take 3-5 days to clear.
