2001 BMW 540i Touring (wagon) 4.4L V8 engine 282 hp @ 5400 rpm / 324 ft-lbs. @ 3600 rpm GROM Bluetooth/iPod/USB unit installed in place of 6 disc trunk CD changer - will provide 6 disc changer. Microphone mounted on driver's side for Bluetooth calling, and system does Bluetooth audio streaming as well. Replaced both rear air springs in last 12 months, SLS is working fine at this time. Tires replaced 2016-05-03, two year road hazard through Tirerack. Battery replaced 2016-03-04, front control arms 2016-02-08, brake flush 2016-01-18. Brake pads/rotors replaced 2014, when I did so did not replace brake wear sensors (fused wires together to bypass warning). Additionally, the below service records were provided in an e-mail by my friend from whom I bought the car in June 2013: ------------------- Work done on June 3rd 2013 Valve Cover Gaskets Replaced : Both Banks Replaced two failing Coil Packs Spark Plugs Replaced Failing Motor mount replaced Seals Inspected for wear - Head gaskets are Solid Vanos Inspected Replaced Water Pump AC Belt Replaced Main Drive Belt Replaced Replaced Two Belt Tensioner pulleys Replaced Fan & Fan Clutch Replaced Thermostat Flushed Coolant Oil Changed Work done on 12/31/15 Front Upper + Lower Front Control arms replaced Oil Changed Cabin Air Filter Changed Dunlop Graspic DS-3 Winter Tires installed (These have since been replaced) Spare tire replaced (Full size - Near new) I had previously replaced the Alternator last year, so that is solid as well (Its a $550-800 part depending on where you get it from). ------------------- Sunroof sticks while closing but does fully seal (has never leaked) if you give it a push while it's closing. Rear liftgate will not stay open in cold weather/on an incline. Instrument cluster LCD screen has some dead pixels and odometer LED is broken (hard to see mileage without a flashlight) - new silver ribbon cable to fix pixel issue runs about $30-40. Front passenger window regulator was replaced, worked 100% for a few weeks, think it's come off the track recently as it doesn't go completely down. Clearcoat almost completely peeled off hood and most of the front of the roof. Check engine light on - returns codes P0134 (failed O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1), P0491/P0492 (secondary air injection system banks 1/2). NJ inspection good until 2017-07. Sale is as-is with no implied warranty and no returns accepted. Best effort has been made to disclose all known issues about the car but additional issues may exist. Mileage may be higher at time of sale as this is my daily driver. Item is also listed for sale locally. $250 deposit required within 48 hours, balance required within 7 days of close of auction.
