Ok, Lets get straight to the point, Don't call me or e-mail telling me about my truck, I OWN 3 OF THESE, JUST BOUGHT ONE WITH ONLY 3, 000 MILES. you can not tell me anything about these that I do not all ready know, THESE we my love growing up, I have owned several of these trucks. The only reason this truck is even coming up for sale is because ! I purchased a 1993 that has been stored in a warehouse its whole life by a collector, and it only has 3 k miles on it. NOW this is the info on the truck I am selling, please take the time, to read the information. I have up for sale a TRUE 1993 victory red 454SS , It was restored 11 years ago, It currently has 14,987 miles on it now. , NOW the story, Me and my wife in 2005 wanted a truck that we could restore, We found this one, it was not perfect! but in REALLY GOOD SHAPE, other than it was lowered, which I can't stand, we drove it for a while and then decided to do a frame off restoration, We started in 2006 and completely disassembled the whole truck, the frame was undercoated (some of that has fell off) the rear end had all new bearings, seals installed, new brakes, drums, fluid (FACTORY 4.10 GEARS WERE FINE) new bilestein shocks all the way around Now up front we had new bushings, sway arm bushings, tie rods, shocks, drag link, pitman arm, new brakes, rotor, brake lines installed. Engine, was completely gone thru by me, I had heads, ported polished, new valve stem seals, block Add to dictionary, new pistons, rings, rod & main bearings, oil pump, distributor, throttle body rebuilt , new fuel pump, and I installed a set of DOUG THORLEY HEADERS, with BORLA duel exhaust . The interior was already in good shape, I bought a NEW DASH from LMC the original had cracks, I bought a new INSTRUMENT cluster, I have the old one, but it is faded bad . The trucks was repainted and clear coated , it still shines and I still tight to drive. It has been almost 11 years since we restored it, but it still turns heads, It is not perfect , but is REALLY GOOD SHAPE, to my standards. I have a firm price that I want for the truck, SURE I know I will never get the money that I spent back out of it, but I got to many toys, and one has to go. my loss your gain! We purchased the truck in 2005 it had 132,731 miles on it. We drove it for just a few months before we decided to start the restore project. So it had a total of 134,000 miles before restore. We put in a new instrument cluster and started new after restore which we have put 14,987 miles on it now. So all total the trucks mileage would be 148,987 and still is a daily driver.
