1985 Honda Nighthawk 700s. This Nighthawk is in excellent condition and is the perfect bike for vintage Japanese bike shows. It is in show ready condition. The pictures were just taken on 11-21-16. The bike is 99% original. The only modifications are the bar end mirrors and the gold powder coated cam cover. I have the OEM mirrors and cam cover that will go with the bike. I replaced the clutch friction disks and springs with upgraded Barnett parts less than 500 miles ago. Bike also has a new Lithium/Iron battery. There are no mechanical issues at all with this bike. Tires are good and oil was changed recently. It is ready to go. When I lived in So Cal in the 80's I raced against these bikes on Glendora Mountain Road and other roads in that area. At the time I had a Yamaha FJ600. Also, this was the era of the introduction of the Honda VFR Interceptor series of bikes. The 700sc was overshadowed by VFR's in performance and the 700sc was discontinued in 1986. That was unfortunate as these bikes are great all-around performance cruisers. While they may not have attacked the canyon roads like the VFR's they do provide awesome reliability and all day riding comfort. I always wanted to ride one as I liked the muscle bike look and upright lines. I found this bike a few years ago in South Florida and was impressed with how clean it was and so original. I've enjoyed my time with it and now it's time to pass it on as I'm not riding it as much. If you're looking for one of these you will not be disappointed in this one. Deposits through PayPal please.
