Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 tribute. I have an appraisal for $25k done a few months ago in hand. The reserve price on this car is considerably lower than that so bid with confidence knowing that you're going to get a good deal. Immediately before I purchased this vehicle it underwent a complete bumper to bumper restoration of a rust free original sheet metal car. The car was stripped down to bare metal and taken apart down to every nut/bolt. The rare pony interior looks to be all original and in excellent shape. The headliner was replaced when the glass was removed. Every part that needed to be replaced was. This Mustang is a factory "C" code car (2v) that was upgraded to an "A" code (4v) with the correct dated intake and Automate 4100 carburetor. The car runs like a dream and sounds fantastic. The cost of paint and body to make this Mustang laser straight was $10,000 plus another $6000 in parts. The paint does have a few defects here and there just from day to day exposure to the elements (like small scratches/scuffs/chips) but nothing particularly noticeable. I will not say that the body is perfect, but everybody that sees the car goes crazy for it -- it looks that good. I've searched, and I literally can't find a single dent on it. All mechanicals were gone through and everything that needed to be replaced was (over $2000/labor). I have receipts for everything, including what the previous owner had done. I've put about 3000 miles on the car since completion of the restoration. I love this car, but I was just accepted into Harvard Law School and can't afford to have it sit in a garage for three years. It also feels wrong to keep such an incredible example of American muscle history cooped up. Here is a partial list of parts replaced 1. New American Racing Chrome Torq Thrust II wheels w/BF Goodrich Comp T/A tires (about 3k miles put on the tires) 2. I converted the front brakes to power disk brakes and put new brakes/drums/wheel cylinders w/complete hardware on the rear. The braking system is rock solid. 3. New front/rear springs w/hardware 3k miles ago 4. Complete front end parts and hardware 3k miles ago 5. JL Audio system w/amp 4 speakers 6. All new chrome trim/emblems/weatherstripping 7. New Autolite windshield/rubber weatherstripping 8. Complete & correct GT engine dress-up kit 9. New Flowmaster Exhaust 10. Original radiator replaced with a new Champion aluminum radiator. Fan and fan clutch were also upgraded. This car stays within good operating temp even in slow traffic in our 105 degree Texas summers. Most 66' mustangs would be spewing coolant. This beautiful, fully restored 1966 Mustang is offered with no reserve. This Mustang is available and advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Clear title. This car is sold *AS IS* with no warranty. I will be as honest and upfront as possible, but this is a 50 year old car, and I am not an expert mechanic, so it's possible I've missed something. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (817) 381-0128 with any questions.
