Vehicle Detail
This has been a great car for us. We've owned it since 10K miles, so we might as well be the original owners. The TitleWe were hesitant to buy it, because of the "reconstructed" title, but we took a gamble and it paid off! We got 206K miles out of it since taking that risk! OverviewThe car is basic. That's what we wanted - reliable transportation. That being said, 200K extra miles does create some wear and tear; even if you do keep it in the garage and stick strictly to the maintenance schedule. The car still runs good, and starts even on the coldest nights. It had it's timing belt changed around 150K miles. It' has a new coil and routine maintenance parts have been routinely maintained and replaced. We have the maintenance records if you are interested. The Interior Very good shape (no rips or big stains), but does show routine wear typical for a car this age. I've tried to show the interior wear as best as possible in the photos. Please review the photos carefully. It's why I chose to pay for extra photos. Expectations are very important on Ebay. The Exterior Shows typical dings and a spot or two of rust is beginning to show. I've taken photos of the examples of these blemishes. Please see the photos, and look carefully. We both want you to know what to expect. The back hatch works, but it needs to be pursuaded to latch. It's a touch, not a big problem. The DrivetrainRuns well. Starting to burn some oil...but not much. The 4WD works great in the winter and it's a limited shift differential - so it's just FWD when the wheels aren't spinning. This helps with gas milage. It probably needs exhaust. It sounds louder than typical. Plan on replacing exhaust to get state inspection. The check engine light is on all the time. The garage we use says it came on when we changed the timing belt, and there is nothing they can find to do about it. They said it is nothing to worry about. The codes check out in the computer. It's been on for over 50K miles now, with no ill effects. Why are we selling? We have moved on, and purchased a new car. The dealership was offering a very low price for trade, so we decided to sell privately. We feel like the car still has more to offer than what the Dealer was willing to pay for in trade-in value. Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll tell you whatever I can about the car. Good luck and Good Bidding!
