Up for sale is a 1971 Chevrolet El Camino. I would consider this car a "solid project". Meaning that the undercarriage has no apparent rust nor does the body but the person that painted the car did a TERRIBLE job!! Paint was not sprayed on well and he didn't remove light bezels or anything. I bought this as part of a package. The box is very solid as you will see from the pictures as is the frame and floor pans!! In my opinion, it either needs a solid scuff and buff or an entire repaint. But is a solid start! Car has a nice sounding 350 V8 with a mild cam and 2 4 barrel carbs. Paired with an automatic transmission. We were told it has a shift kit but can't verify. I have not driven out on the highway but runs just fine around the lot. Appears to have all newer brakes, shoes, lines, etc. Has dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers. One small dent on passenger side fender but can be fixed easily! Car also has a nice box cover. Would be a great project or a cheap work vehicle. If you are looking for something with solid bones this is it. The box is a little wavy as I don't think the guy knew how to fill in any imperfections.
