1963 Studebaker Avanti ******* One of the rarest ever made *******I have decided to give you guys a chance to win this car at auction, so bid often! Over 1300 views and 70 watchers last time so the interest is clearly here!) I have had close offers, but not close enough. I have seen automatics sell for the amount that will buy this car. This is a very good Avanti and can be outstanding in the right hands.(NADA High retail is $38,000). I believe the 63/64 Studebaker Avantis' are in the group of the next big appreciation collector cars. (especially the 4 speeds) Very low production, affordability, low cost of ownership, and very important history, make this a very special car. ** Extremely Rare one of approximately 116 White 1963 4 speed Avantis ever made! ** The addition of Air Conditioning, Power steering, Dual traction, etc makes this car even more rare **Do not confuse the 63/64 Avantis with the reproduction Avanti II cars, ******* they are not the same at all. This car is Number 346 off the assembly line. * It is 53 years old, and It has never been restored , It is still in very good shape, considering its age. I have only driven it in my neighborhood. It is one of approximately 213 cars made in September 1962! 289 V-8 Studebaker engine, original body and interior, new brakes, new tires, factory air , power steering, 4-speed standard transmission, runs and stops fine. This Avanti has a good body and the paint is still presentable,but has scratches and chips, as it is very old. The interior is good but also has flaws. (It is original the best I can tell). The tires are new. Wheel covers are pretty nice, and the brakes have been gone through. The underbody is very good also. (see photo) This is an extremely rare version of the Avanti because of the 4 speed transmission, power steering,limited slip differential, and air conditioning! This is a great investment.
