Lets talk about safety: The Police Interceptor version of the Explorer is SAFER THAN ANY EXPLORER YOU CAN BUY. The yellow, green and purple parts of the frame below show the ADDITINAL structural enhancements making this SUV the safest around. A 75MPH rear crash rating has been awarded for the Police model. Your essentially driving a tank in Explorer clothing. The paint and interior are all in great condition with minimal wear and tear and certainly NOTHING close to what you would find on the usual ex-police cars with 80,000 plus miles and hard hard use. Dual RED/WHITE interior dome lights front and back....pre-wired for emergency lights in the front and rear as well as pre-wired for side mirror warning lights and the flashers are installed in the corner marker lamps. Mechanically the engine runs like a top. Regular service done every 3,000 miles. It's next to impossible to find a used Police Interceptor SUV with this low of miles and one that has not seen one day of emergency service use. This IS the BEST Interceptor SUV on the market now.
