Vehicle Detail

I've had this Phaeton since 2008. I have all of the service records from the VW dealer. The car runs great. The exterior and the interior are in excellent but not pristine condition. It has the dings and scratches that you would expect from a car with 170,000 miles. There's plenty of life left in this car. I'm selling it because I received a company car and I have no need for two cars. On Dec-13-16 at 15:43:16 PST, seller added the following information: Many of you have asked about recent major repairs. 1. Sep 2016 - Replaced front and rear rotors and brakes. 2. Aug 2016 - Replaced combi valve. 3. Jan 2015 - Replaced water tube and all seals and gaskets, 4. May 2012 - Replaced timeing belt. On Dec-17-16 at 07:00:05 PST, seller added the following information: I just tried to post a question and my answer from an ebayer but it didn't seem to work. Here's another attempt. Questions: Can you please tell me are there any things that don't work or what may need fixed soon ? Is there a clock that works properly in the dash ? I just couldn't tell in the photos. Does it have any rattles or shakes ? Does it run fully proper as new ? I know that's a lot of questions and will take quite a bit of your time so thank you so much in advance for your reply. I just sat in the car and made a detailed list of everything this is not perfect with the car. I've attached photos for your review. These items include: 1. Driver's side front floor mat - There's a hole in the right front corner from wear. I put a small piece of carpet under the hole it and it does the job. See photo. 2. Turn signal clicker - The turn signals function 100%. However there's a sensor that is not working that operates the 'tick-tock' clicking noise to indicate that the turn signal is on. End result...when you engage the turn signals, you don't hear the normal 'tick-tock' sound. 3. Emergency brake light - If you leave the emergency brake engaged and start driving, normally there is a beeping noise that alerts you that the brake is engaged. This sensor does not work. 4. Control screen in middle of dashboard - All buttons and sensors function 100%. You'll see in the attached photos that there's a wafer thin section of the screen that is black. See photo. 5. Rear driver door ash tray - Stays in 'open' position. See photo. 6. Rear center console - The left on/off air control under the air vent is pushed in. See photo. Everything else in the interior is in great condition. You asked specifically about the clock. It works 100%. See photo. As for rattles and shakes, there are none. I've been obsessed over the years with keeping this car well maintained and in great shape. Most of the miles on this car are highway miles. I have a bad habit of driving rather fast. The acceleration from 0-60 is fine. Where Phaetons have always excelled in going north, from 60-100+mph. This car still has the kick under the hood to make it happen with ease. Come take it for a test drive on the turnpike and you'll see for yourself. As for the exterior, there are no major dents or other issues. Normal scratches, rubs, or dings that you would expect from a car with this age and miles. This car is a rare find.
