Today i am selling my 1987 Mercedes 560SL . This car was finished in Cabernet Red ( MB color code 587 ) with Parchment color interior . It is a stunning color combination and i do get compliments on it every time i drive it. There are a lot of wonderful 560SL in black, red and silver , but you barely ever see one in this burgundy color. This car really sticks out. It is and original Dallas Texas car and it has always been garaged and pampered. The paint is mostly original all the way around and it still shines like on a much newer car. This car has never been in an accident and you will be proud to drive up in it anywhere. The chrome is still in great condition and together with the light interior provides a great contrast to the rich dark color exterior. The interior is in excellent shape as well . There are no rips or tears in the seats , the carpets and the door-panels are clean and even the wood is still in wonderful condition. The soft top is still working well and there are no rips or tears either. The back window is clear. The sun visors are good with the mirror lights perfectly functioning as well. The hardtop is in great condition as well. This SL has always been maintained very well and it drives accordingly. All the gauges work the way they should. Even after being parked for a long period of time , it always starts up right away . There is lots of power and it is a true pleasure to drive. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the car handles wonderful even at higher speeds. I would not hesitate to take it across country tomorrow.
