Stainless Steel Brake Lines/Slotted Rotors. Over $28K invested. I'm selling because I don't drive the car much. I have 3 other cars, and only put less than 300 miles/year on the Eclipse. I never raced the car, and if there was ever something broken on the car, I'd get it fixed at the Mitsubishi dealer. It's a great car, runs well, and very fast. Ice cold air as well for the summer time heat. Not a scratch on any of the wheels. Full maintenance logbook with who worked on the car, when, description of work done, and phone number. VERY detailed records. Looks and sounds great. I don't think there's a door ding anywhere. Some minor stone nicks on the front bumper, but not much. *** I've had lots of questions, and I want to be as honest as possible. A) There's no AM/FM antenna on this vehicle, because it interferes with the aftermarket trunk lid. B) There's a gap in the body kit front left corner. I'm not mechanically inclined to adjust it, and the body shops I've taken it to in my new home town will not work on after market body kits. I've just accepted the gap, but I don't see why it can't be adjusted at some point. I just haven't had to time to seek out someone to adjust it to make a near perfect fit. C) There's no windshield washer tank in the engine or rear deck area, because the previous owner removed it to install a down pipe. This has not affected me at all, since where I live, it's not needed. D) There is light rust in the engine bay on some metal parts and some rust underneath the vehicle. The rust hasn't gotten any worse, since I live in Nevada where it's VERY dry. E) The original turbo gauge was disconnected to allow connection to the Engine Boost Controller. F) The engine oil pressure gauge doesn't work, but the red light indicator does on the instrument cluster, so at least you have 1 indication if your oil pressure is low. I've brought this issue to the Mitsubishi dealer, and they said it's more work than needed to fix that oil pressure guage. It didn't bother me, since the red light works. G) The TEIN suspension is FULLY adjustable for ground clearance. Wrench included. H) The dual German built HELLA SuperTone horns are SUPER loud, so you'll be noticed if needed. The stock horn was terrible, but it's still hooked up if you prefer. I) The installed turbo-timer will unlock the doors after the car shuts off, so you have to wait until the time expires to re-lock the door. I'm sure someone with electrical knowledge can make an adjustment for this if it's bothersome. As for me, I just wait until the timer expires, and lock the door. J) I keep the battery charger hooked up to the vehicle for extended periods or car battery will discharge. I'm typically gone for up to two weeks at a time with my job, sometimes three weeks, and if I come back home without the charger connected, the battery will be discharged. I do believe that something is robbing power from the battery as the car sits in the garage, but I don't know what that is, so I just keep the charger hooked up all the time. The battery was last replaced on: 07/28/2012. K) If you drive the car, and pull into a parking lot, and think you're too close to a parking space cement block, most likely you've already hit it! Meaning, you need to be careful with the body kit, and it's lowered height. L) Mechanics aren't use to the low ground clearance, and I've had problems 3 different time at various locations where a mechanic damaged the body kit. This was even after warning them about it. M) Back when I had the car in Georgia, the Mitsubishi dealership had boards they used to help get the car on a lift. Here in NV, the Mitsu dealership advised me they can't accommodate the car on a lift. They do as much as they can without the lift here. For fluid changes, I have used Jiffy Lube, due to drive in drive out and the ability to work on the car from underneath. I only use Jiffy Lube for oil changes. I'm not a big fan of them. N) There is only 1 alarm remote, the previous owner didn't have the 2nd remote. I do have two keys for the car. O) The best way to unlock the hatchback is with the inside cabin latch, not the key, because there's a possibility you'll break off the key if you use the hatchback lock. The key turns hard in that lock. P) The onboard fire extinguisher lost the charge. I'm not worried about it, since it's for show. You an easily have it recharged if you prefer. Q) The front seat belts could do more harm than good with certain types of collisions. It could compress your back in a bad accident. Why? Because with this type of seat belt, you should have an anchored roll cage to mount the seat belts on for the front seats. For me, the chance of an accident is very slim, and I chose to accept the risk. If you don't want that isolated risk, you can either remove those seat belts or install a roll cage. R) The passenger front seat back "sometimes" doesn't lock into place. If you exercise the release a few times, then it will work. Not an issue, but I thought I should bring it up. S) for the person who sent me an offer, I'm sorry, but Ebay wouldn't allow me to write an explanation. I had to contact tech support to have them fix it. There was some glitch that they took care of. Anyways, to answer your question, the car is not in "Mint" condition, as it's not new, but I've taken care the best I can to make it as beautiful as possible. I also don't like anything broken, so if something is broken, I get it fixed. I don't defer maintenance. There are no door dings for sure, however you may find small stress cracks at various places around the car if you look closely with the body kit. This will happen over time regardless of how careful you are. T) Approximately every two years, I need to recharge the A/C system in the summer. The Mitsubishi dealership doesn't see any leaks, but there might be a tiny leak someplace. I just pay the $150 every two years and be done with it. The air is ice cold, so it's nice. U) The cruise control works as well, that was one of the questions. V) If anyone wants additional photos, PLEASE call or email. Cell: 770-365-6464 or email: Mooney63Q@gmail.com W) Sorry this is so long, but I needed to be comprehensive. $28,000 invested in the car, it's a very beautiful car, gets lots of looks, and I at least want to get a small amount of return, so I think the price I'm asking is fair. Like I said, if you have a question, please ask. Thank you.
