Ok ladies and gentlemen, here's the deal. I have here my 2001 BMW 740IL for sale. First I will start by saying I purchase this vehicle myself for $5,200......I will not be asking for $5,200. So heres the deal, this vehicle has definitely been on the road for some time, so you have a few options with this vehicle, and because of that versatility that's why I'm starting the bid where I am. Here are your options. 1. Personal Vehicle This vehicle is fully drivable and has little to no problems. This is a classic V8 4.4 Liter BMW 7 series. On the highway this car is a beast, putting out 280 hp down the freeway with a top speed of 155 mph. The drive is beyond smooth, you can feel the luxury as the heated/electric auto adjust steering wheel with heated front and rear seats keep you, your passengers, and your hands toasty. Panoramic sunroof with power/heated side view mirrors and power driver and passenger seats are nothing for this luxury brand of car. Now the genuine leather stitched rear passenger door pockets, now that's something to make you double take. Also included the secret compartment for any means you deem it necessary and with 17 cubic feet of trunk space you'll be good to go whether going grocery shopping or a family camping trip.As far as using it as a personal vehicle, that is definitely a viable option for you. There is no cosmetic damage except for the quarter panel of the bumper which is cracked, also the water pump does need to be replaced, which I am including with the purchase of the vehicle for guaranteed customer satisfaction. I have purchased and installed a brand new battery, and the car is freshly washed and vacuumed. Fine print: Not only would it be bad business but just bad ethically. Here's the disclaimer, the vehicle has one slight issue that makes it a bit difficult to use as a personal vehicle. This issue doesn't physically stop the vehicle from being able to drive but more so you're not going to want to be driving around like that. After about five minutes of driving you will notice an excessive amount of smoke start to come for the dual mufflers in the back. The reason is because of the head gasket, it needs to be replaced, this should cost you no more than $150 dollars to replace. However some people aren't so hard pressed to go through replacing parts in a vehicle. Instead they find themselves looking for a more lucrative option. 2. Sell for parts This vehicle is also very eligible to sell for parts. So with this being a BMW as it is, you stand to make a pretty nice profit, way more than what I'm asking for.
