Vehicle Detail

I'm selling the car to the highest bidder in the end....1973 DeTomaso Pantera. 28,000 original. May be the last of the nice ones priced affordably. Updates include cooling system, a thousand dollars in white face gauges & installation, undercoating painfully removed and absolute show quality smooth engine bay has the same shine as the car. [They never came same color, you could eat off this engine bay]. If you want to goo it back up with undercoating, your call. Rebuilt engine has less than 1000 miles on it, no race equipment like big cam, high rise intake or race carburetor or pistons, just a valve job with hardened seats for unleaded, timing chain set & modern camshaft, set of rings. Clutch pack changed, CNC Stainless clutch master, SS brake lines, NAPA Hi-Torque starter, carburetor rebuilt with neoprene acceleration pump for use with today's junky ethanol, Mallory ECU Ignition, and if you're a fan of the wing, the last owner (owned 25 years) has the wing sitting in his garage for you, you pay shipping. This car runs cool, it's super fast and a blast to drive, no leaks, no funny engine noises, no smoke, no paint gouges, dents, no rust, no grinding second gear, paint is very very nice with 2 small chips [that a dime would cover] where the hood was opened against the front bumper. Hall Pantera complete exhaust 5 years ago. Electric fans switched to use only in traffic. The car runs cool. Fully serviced with receipts including new u-joints, fresh cooling system, ZF has Amsoil synthetic, motor has Brad Penn w/zink. All stock gauges and switches work, added switch panel is not permanent can easily be removed.Wheels painted when the tires were changed, they still look new, side decals I added personally last Spring, easily removed if you're not a decal person. 400 dollar steering wheel, the original goes w/the car. Stock interior, seats have been recovered at some point, no rips or tears & nice carpet and correct L model dash, original door panels. You should not have to put ANY money into this car. I have [some] restoration photos, not digital, in an album that came w/the car showing when it was stripped. Never crashed & original fenders, hood, deck, quarters, doors, etc. See video, it drives straight down the road, & brakes hard when on demand. Pins you in the set when the secondaries come in & pulls hard ~past~ the red line in every gear. Lets go for a ride: 1973 Pantera On Nov-14-16 at 14:06:07 PST, seller added the following information: I spoke to the last owner after many emails about the rear bumper, yes he has that and he is sending it to me. Remember he has the rear wing too. I don't want the wing.
