No Reserve auction, very low first bid! For sale is my beloved XJ8, owned since 2003. Always garaged, pampered, and well- maintained. Used as a 3rd car, only 65k miles, much of it on the freeway between CA and AZ. Has never given me a day of trouble (or I wouldn't have owned it for 13+ years!) The car is located in Palm Springs, and a current CA smog cert will be provided to the new owner. I'm a stickler for good preventative maintenance. I'd drive cross country tomorrow without hesitation. This car leaks no fluids whatsoever, and needs nothing. Recent services include: Replaced all hoses. Replaced serpentine belt. Replaced the thermostat, housing, and flushed cooling system. Replaced spark plugs. Replaced brake fluid. Replaced power steering pump and hose to rack. (The steering isn't 'one finger' light, but mechanic says it will loosen up with time.) Replaced rear pinion seals and lubed the differential. Renewed ABS module. Pirelli P6 tires with less than 20k miles. New battery last year. Beautiful green (but not British Racing Green) exterior, flawless cream leather interior. No smoking, accidents, dings, or insurance claims. There is a dime- sized scrape on the rear bumper from me being inattentive after a relaxing massage :-) Drives wonderfully, no warning lights. The rear headliner is sagging a bit, as is common in these cars. Your choice whether to fix. Give your mother in law more to complain about. This is a two- owner car, although carfax shows more. One transfer is due to me re- titling the car in AZ from CA, and one is due to original owner's lease return and dealer purchase. Clear title in- hand. Bid with confidence.
