this is my driver. 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe. had rusted out floors so i made new out of 18 gauge sheetmetal. lower left and right quarter panels replaced with aftermarket panels.panel below trunk was replaced. still has some places that need repaired to be right. the lower drivers side front door post needs new metal, as does the passenger side rear door post. look at pictures please. has a 1986 302 with a rebuilt toploader 4-speed transmission. stock engine with an aluminum intake and 4-barrel carb. Runs low 80 MPH in the quarter. plenty of power and never gets hot. New aluminum radiator too. all restoration was done 2 years ago and I have driven it about 7,000 miles since. no dash gauges are working, I use the ones under the dash in the panel.No speedometer. Goes 20 MPH at 1,000 RPM, so at 60 MPH engine is turning 3,000 RPM. No power steering or brakes. Has a Lucky7 4" dropped front axe with reversed leaf and tube shocks. has a front disc brake kit from Speedway Motors in front and a 1995 Explorer 8.8" rear end with factory disc brakes and 3.73 gears. air shocks in rear, with parellel leaf springs that have been shortend . look at pictures. Not a show car by any means, but a dependabl driver. All work was done by me in my garage, so it is a true amature restoration. .
