1973 Mercedes "short bumper" 450sl. All original through out except the stereo upgrade. Paint is clean with a few chips from use, no repairs noticed. its been on the east coast for 10 years started its life in Oregon. it has only been used as a summer beach cruiser, although I have driven to Boston a few times and it performed flawlessly sitting in hot summer traffic, Doesn't burn a drop of oil, new Michelin tires, brakes and shocks are recent as well. Soft top is original with clear plastic and no rips. The a/c needs a charge but its fully intact, Dash has a few cracks and it needs carpet on the front floors. seats are MBtex and that's in good shape, but the stuffing if a bit flat, seats are still comfortable. But again this is an un molested frequently driven 43 year old car. I would not hesitate to drive cross country, it has the backseat option and the hard top is flawless inside and out. The chrome is straight and clean no pits and good shine and depth. I drove it all summer and it was a pure joy. The color is rare and loved by all who see it.
