Barn find 1979 450SL. Starts, runs, and shifts into forward and reverse. Has soft top, but windows are cloudy. Car has lots of rust. Front floor pans seem ok, but trunk and back seat pan has rust through. Has small exhaust leak. Brakes work. Have not driven on road. This was going to be a restoration (bucket list) project, but it is beyond my means and ability. Hard top has lots of rust. There are some good panels and all the trim appears to be there (in trunk). Missing headlights. There is an slight oil drip from valve cover gasket when running and a coolant leak from behind engine somewhere. The person who's barn it came from had removed all the trim and started painting it with primer. He also said that the car was always serviced and taken care of, but he parked it in 2011 when his wife passed away. Everything appears original. Clean Florida Title. Has A/C and Cruise Control options. 4th matching alloy wheel is in trunk with bad tire. Please email me with questions. Thank you for looking.
