Vehicle Detail

Selling my laser red 1998 Mustang GT. I bought this car a little over three years ago from a man in Minnesota. According to him it has had three previous owners including him. When I first purchased the vehicle it wasn't running real great but all it took was some new ignition wires and its run like a champion ever since. To the best of my knowledge the only aftermarket modifications made to it is the cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust, and new lowering springs(only about an inch lower than stock) + caster/camber plates I put on when the original springs needed replacing. The car runs well and I even drove it all the way down to North Carolina and back about a year ago with no issues. I can't speak for the previous owner but I've done my best to care for this car as if its brand new over the last few years. As is usually the case I'd always intended to put money into it and make it show worthy but sadly life is getting in the way of that. I do however believe it has potential. Vehicle has been stored during winter and only driven in the summer. Only rust on the body I've been able to find is under the spare tire in the trunk. I've included a picture of it.Leather interior is in good shape. Looks great.AC works wonderfully.Sound system is stock(as far as I know) but sounds excellent.Fun car, especially for the money, and it has potential whether you want a toy to get speeding tickets in or you're wanting to put a little work in to make a beautiful cruising car. The only problems this car has are cosmetic. All 'problems' are from the previous owner as I've babied this car ever since I got it.Small hail dings that I'm told can be easily removed but I haven't had the spare money to do it. Paint is original and faded.Window tint on passenger side is scratched. I believe the window itself is fine though.Cowl(plastic beneath the windshield wipers) is shattered on the driver's side.Wheels are scuffed in various places. I think this car could have been in an accident at some point. The fading of the paint on the driver's side quarter panel doesn't quite match the rest of the car and the exhaust on the passenger side is twisted as if it hit something. It doesn't effect performance or sound and you can't tell until you get the car up on a lift. The whole exhaust could use replacing though simply because it looks terrible between the rust and the damage. I've tried my best to take pictures of all of the cosmetic issues the vehicle has. If you have any questions please contact us and I'll answer to the best of my ability since I'm sure I've forgotten something. I'm big on transparency when selling things and I want to do all I can to help potential buyers feel comfortable purchasing my Mustang. (As an example this vehicle was already sold once but I found the rust in the trunk three hours before the auction ended. I shared this with the winning buyer and they decided they no longer wanted it so here we are.) I do have a few extras for the car which I will be including with it at no extra cost. *Rear Window Louver (I never use it but the car does have the plates to secure it on the rear window still.) *Extra, off-red hood the previous owner gave to me with the car. I believe it's an SN95 Cobra hood but I could be mistaken. *Car Cover
