Rare 1985 Jeep Scrambler up for auction. 56,xxx original miles, all parts are original with exception of the front bumper. Comes with new battery and tires that have less than 200 miles on them. New set of front leaf springs and shocks.(Not installed but included) and spare tire. For sale as a restoration project or parts for an existing project. Interior is in excellent condition! Been garaged its whole life. Rust has taken its toll on this classic, so please do no purchase this unless you have time to get it road ready. From what I can see of the frame,without removing the body, it looks good with exception of one hole. I have been told it can be patched. Runs good, body tabs are heavily rusted, floor is all but gone. I am the 3rd owner , got this from my dad (2nd owner) with hopes of bringing 'er back to life. I just don't have the time to do so at this time, so, I have decided to pass it on to someone who can. Please ask all questions prior to bidding or purchase. Have had seat covers on since 19991.On Oct-19-16 at 18:02:16 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ! Took the Jeep into town yesterday and it started to cut out. Running rough when cold, once it warms up it cuts out and sometimes stalls. Took it to a mechanic for evaluation and he feels the carb needs to be rebuilt or a kit put on to swap out the original carb for a motocraft carb. This is the original carb and has never been rebuilt. It will still run to get it onto a trailer or transport.
