Vehicle Detail

Description: 1965 Chevy Impala SS Black/Black. Every aspect of this car was just completed. Exterior: It just came out of the paint shop a few weeks ago done by Miracle Paint, Pleasanton, California. This paint work cost $13,000 and it is perfect. The photos of me taking a photo and the clouds are a reflection in the paint. It's a mirror. Drive Train:It has a period correct 396 Engine ( not numbers matching) that was rebuilt by Strasburg Automotive Machine and to have 425+ hp.It has Pro Tru Street pistons and chromoly rings by Wiseco, Comp Cam Xtreme Energy Camshaft and valve train and Melling high flow oil pump. Intake manifold is an Edelbrock Performance high rise with Edelbrock 750 CFM carb. The brake system is all new. The heads were completely redone, valves, seats, guides and had rocker roller arms. I took those off to give it a stock look but could be easily reinstalled. When I purchased this car 5 years ago, the floor pans were solid but I installed a new trunk pan.Put in a remanufactured Muncie M20 transmission four speed on the floor. The shift box and linkage is new and completely stock. The steering column is a new Ididit tilt wheel. Power steering pump, altanator, water pump, all new. I had a Hurst shifter on it to begin with but wanted it to be stock. It would not be that hard or expensive to reinstall a Hurst kit if that's your preference. The differential is twelve bolt positraction with 302 gear ratio. Interior: The interior has been completely redone, by Amrand's Auto Upholstery, Walnut Creek, California, one of the very best restoration shops in San Francisco Bay area. This Impala came with factory air conditioning but it's less efficient than the newer systems on the market. I chose to replace it with a Perfect Fit Elite system from ClassicAutoAir. The stereo is a Resound perfect fit, Bluetooth or USB cable capable. 5" speakers in the door, a 5X6" in the center of the dash and 6X9" in the package deck. The sound in this interior cabin is amazing. I don't have a lift to take photos of the outside but if you and your inspector is disappointed in anyway, I'll refund the deposit immediately.I could itemize all restoration work and parts but it would include everything else on the car. This isn't a perfect car but it's close. I restored this Impala for sentimental reasons. First date with wife...that sort of thing, it took 5 years to restore. I have a 69 Camaro and a 67 Chevelle I'm restoring. One has got to go.If you are looking for something to work on, this is not your car. If you are looking for something cheap, this is not your car. But, if you are looking for an excellent 65 SS to drive, this may work for you. I have a fair and reasonable reserve. The title is clean. Steve925.683.1248 Terms: $500 deposit in certified funds within 24 hours of the sale, the balance within 7 days for when the vehicle is picked up.I also want the right to sell the car prior to the auction.
