1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. Nice restoration candidate. Running condition. Drove it around town this past summer. Needs a bunch of things replaced or repaired: Outside mirrors (mirror glass missing), crack in windshield, crack in dash, vent window closing knob, rear door crank comes off, inside door panels need replaced, top is adequate, but should be replaced, two hubcaps are missing. There are probably other things. Engine is not fuel injected. Car does have new running boards and a new battery. Rear quarter panels have rust through. Heater channels and floor pan appear to be in very good condition. There is rust through at battery area. There is surface rust on front hood and misc. other areas (see photos). I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time as vehicle is available for sale locally. Local pickup or you arrange shipping. I will assist in loading. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION.
