This is a 2006 Chevy Impala with approximately 168,000 miles. The car rides nice and looks good. This car has periods when it will not be driven for 30 days and then will be a daily driver for the next 30 days. This is a list of everything I know to be wrong with the car, while I believe it is everything I am not a mechanic and something may be missing: Heat does not work when idling The oil leaks from the head gasket as well at the rate of one quart per 3,000 miles When the transmission was rebuilt by the dealer the oil was tested for antifreeze contamination and there was none The passenger side heat/air actuator clicks when going from cold to warm or warm to cold The door sensor in the driver’s side door does not work resulting in the radio staying on for five minutes after the car is shut off Other notable items: A/C is cold Transmission rebuilt by the local Chevy dealer at 120,000 miles
