Relisted with no reserve! A true barn find. 2.3 miles on it. The mirrors still have the protective blue film on them! Original tires. The only thing missing on this bike is the tool kit and owner's manual. Plenty of patina and surface rust. It isn't show room condition but it could be. As the story goes, this bike was purchased new by the original owner, rode home and put in the garage. He had an accident in his truck the same day and couldn't ride it. So, it sat in his garage. I believe I'm the third owner and bought it to restore. That was 10 years ago. I just don't have the time or desire to restore this bike. So, its for sale. The engine turns over freely. The front brake cylinder and hose need rebuilding. All of the oil in the reservoir and the hose solidified. I had the gas tank boiled out and coated. The grease in the wheel bearings is solidified, so they will need to be repacked. I don't know anything more about the history of this bike. Honda produced these Hondamatics for three years for sale in the USA, 1976, 1977, and 1978. Nicknamed the Dogimatic, they weren't widely popular. This one hasn't run since the day it was ridden home, in 1977. This would make a great project bike. You're on your own for shipping and shipping costs.
