Thank you for viewing and bidding on my 1970 Trans Am.I've owned this car for 28 years and have put less than 300 miles on it since completion.It has undergone a frame-on restoration.It is not a numbers matching car and has several modifications.In beautiful condition with PHS documentation,approximately 65000 original miles and a clean title here are some specifics: Drivetrain This car came from factory originally with a 4 speed manual trans./RA3 400 engine combination.Engine and trans. have been replaced with a 71/72 455 and thm400 automatic.1971 yh 4 bolt 455 block.Forged pistons,73-4 factory super duty rods,crower cam/lifters,Ra4 windage tray.Otherwise completly rebuilt by Joe Rhyne racing of Gary Indiana.71-72 455 H.O. factory intake w/crossover, nos Q-jet, HEI recurved by Hi Precision of Orland Park,Illinois.Cylinder heads are #64 casting, 1970 455 H.O. d-port GTO heads.New ss valves,3-angle valve job,new Comp. Cams springs etc.,Harland Sharp roller rockers.Transmission is a thm400 rebuilt by Mr. Transmission of Highland Indiana.Stock converter.Rear end is stock 12 bolt, factory installed for that year.It is completely rebuilt with new Eaton 3:55 posi unit/bearings etc. New Motive ring/pinion.Strange Engineering performance axles with c-clip eliminators.Body/InteriorInterior is excellent overall.Door panels are not show quality.4-point roll bar.Rear seat and heater/ac have been deleted from this car.Original seat belts were somehow lost during restoration but drivers seat has an aftermarket type belt.New Sony cd/am-fm .Body is very nice and show quality overall but not 100% perfect concourse condition.Chip and paint crack small spot on right hand side door/qtr. panel not hardly noticable etc.Misc. other info.Manual steeringNew Flow Master exhaust systemNew starter/alternator/fuel pumpHooker super comp. aluminized headers I'm new to Ebay but don't let that affect your bidding confidence as i can assure you i am very honest and reputable and accurate in my description of vehicle.I will do my utmost to answer any questions or send additional photos etc.Feel free to email inquiries or contact my cell phone.
