Vehicle Detail

2004 Yukon XL 2500 4X4 Duramax Diesel Conversion! 2006 LBZ Duramax diesel engine and Allison 6 speed auto transmission 134323 miles on engine and transmission. This SUV is awesome! I have had it for several years. I purchased it from the renowned conversion specialist CSK in California. He had just finished with this build and I drove it back to Texas. It has been a great vehicle. I mainly used it as a second vehicle and for traveling. It is amazing on fuel (expect 18 to 22 mpg) as well as comfortable and spacious. Can easily go 600+ miles on a tank of diesel. The four wheel drive works great, as I used to take ski trips to the mountains in it. I get questions wherever I go in it. Diesel guys come running up asking if it came from the factory with a duramax. As you know, GM never put the duramax in suburbans or yukons. This is why this SUV is the ultimate SUV. You can haul kids and groceries around town and then hook up to any trailer and pull it with ease. The 3/4 ton 2500 frame and Duramax drivetrain can handle anything. The Good: -It is in great shape. Leather is in great shape. No rips or tears. -Never had any mechanical issues. Always used synthetic oil and serviced religiously. -Tires are in great shape. -Paint and exterior look great. -Just normal use. -Comes with a PPE programmer for better mileage and a tow tune -Comes with a Bullydog watchdog for gauges -Has a MBRP 4 inch downpipe back exhaust system. Sounds great, not loud at all. -Has front and rear heavy duty floor liners- easy to keep clean -Has fullsize bfg spare -Has a Cognito steering linkage support. Cognito makes awesome products. The Bad: -Has a rebuilt Texas title. Yukon was in a light front quarter panel collision prior to the build. The conversion guy replaced all panels and parts needed as the body came off the frame for the conversion. This never bothered me and I havent had any issues from it. -Needs a windshield washer fluid pump. It has never worked and I never needed it. -The rear inside door panels on passenger and driver sides have small scratches in them as shown in pictures -The third row seat needs a good cleaning. I purchased it last year and threw it in. -Carpet has a couple stains here and there. Not very noticeable. Normal use. The only reason I am selling it is to buy a corvette. This is taking up the garage and the corvette will live in the garage. Otherwise I would keep it. These are super rare and if you look into what it costs to build these you will kick yourself for not jumping on this one. This wasn't a shade tree mechanic conversion, this was done buy a guy that specialized in these builds and has done literally hundreds of these trucks. He knows his stuff and stands behind them. I will be sure to have it detailed before the truck is picked up. Im sure I missed something so please call or email with any questions. (915)526-2076 It is located in Fabens, TX, about 20 minutes east of El Paso, TX. I can pick you up from the airport if needed. Cash or cashiers check from reputable bank, or wire transfer only. NO PAYPAL! (Cash preferred) On Aug-19-16 at 11:06:49 PDT, seller added the following information: A few questions that I have been asked, here are the answers: Yukon XL 2500 4x4 is a 2004 model. I believe it had appx 100k on it before the conversion. The yukon shows well and has normal wear from normal use. The donor Duramax is a 2006 LBZ model engine, along with the Allison 6 speed transmission. The miles that it shows are the correct donor engine miles. The conversion included the dash, gauges, and both computers, along with a multitude of other various parts to make it work together like it would have come from the factory. (DMAX hydro-boost, dual batteries, etc.) Since it is all GMT800 series, it works together nicely. The conversion was done at appx ~108k miles. I have had it since then and have never had any problems with it. I change fluids and filters regularly with synthetic rotella oils. Yes, it gets amazing fuel mileage. I don't know why, but it gets better than the pickups do. I owned a 2006 duramax truck for years that got around 17mpg. this yukon easily gets 18 to 22 depending on how you drive. I routinely drove 550 miles to visit family here in TX and always got 20 mpg going 80mph. With a mix of highway and city I would get 18mpg. Forgot to mention that it has a sunroof and an AUX input on the radio. Feel free to call, text, or email me with any questions. Thanks!
