2004 Volvo xc70, traded in on a new Volvo in rural WI. Car looks like new,in and out,very well kept ,overall.It was traded in running excellent,new tires,booster child seats integrated,everything worked fine. At inspection they changed the oil and refilled it 3 qt short and clogged the oil pump screen,they corrected the mistake right away,however,you have a tick that becomes a knock under throttle,most likely has internal damage from oil starvation. Runs just fine,it knocks...I will not trust it on a long trip.Our local shop has a motor availablef rom a identical car with body damage that will fit,they are looking to get $300...for the engine,however,it is a 2 day labor time to swap it.
