This MG Midget has been on the comeback for several years. My father acquired it several years ago and had the head rebuilt with new valves and springs, carburetors rebuilt, the body painted and put on 5 new tires. He traded it to me last year and since then I have installed the model correct seats, converted it to negative ground, replaced the old generator with a new alternator, installed a spin on oil filter kit, new water pump, new battery, and all new front brakes. The car starts and runs as it should. The tachometer does not work since switching over to negative ground but I have purchased one from a later model that will work when installed that goes with the car. The turn signal switch on the column works but it does not self cancel so I include a new one I purchased from Moss Motors. I also purchased a new tonneau bar and installed the tonneau cover you see in the pictures. I purchased a new white top, which is included with the car but have not installed it. Original top bows are in good condition and I have the old top so the header rails are included too. The front end suspension needs bushings and alignment so while driveable interested parties should consider this car a continuing project. There is a little noise in the transmssion when pulling away in first gear but gears 2 through 4 are quiet and it works smoothly and reliably in all 4 gears. I am selling the car because I have an MGTD (and other projects) that needs more of my attention.
