1996 Caprice Classic 5.7 L V8 350 cu.in.New Tires & Many new partsGreat Starting point as a project car or great cheap commuter car This car was garage kept until the last three years. It had only used Mobile One Synthetic Oil and filters up to this point with oil changes every 3000 miles. I continued using Mobile One oil but I increased the oil change interval to 5000 miles due to cost. I recently replaced the tires, idler arm and tie rod at a cost of $1280.00. The lower left ball joint cost $250 to replace. Then I had to replace the water pump and the fan belts at a cost of about $450.00. Front brakes were replaced about three months ago. Air conditioning was overhauled a year ago at a cost of about $700.00 and works great. Everything on the car is fully functional with the exception of the power antenna which is stuck in the up position and the digital speedometer which is intermittent. However, I am including a Magellan Maestro 4040 GPS unit which is what we used as a speedometer when the digital speedometer would flake out. The car needs some minor body work on two areas. A deer ran into the left side just above the left front tire and left two small dents. The car was also backed into a truck bumper just below the left rear light and sustained minor body damage. This vehicle has the following options; Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Intermittent Wipers, AM/FM/CD Stereo Radio w/seek-scan speed compensated volume control & Digital Clock, Power Antenna, Power Trunk Release, Power Mirrors, Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror, Rear Window Defogger, Heat Reflective Windshield, Automatic Headlights, Leather Interior w/ power driver and passenger 60-40 Split Bench front seat, Full Size Spare and Remote Keyless Entry with two Key fobs and three sets of keys. Also for you "B" Body collectors I also have the original factory window sticker.
