Vehicle Detail
I have a 1977 Jeep CJ-7 up for a no reserve auction. I bought this Jeep as a Levi's Edition Jeep. I don't know how to be sure. It does have a rebuilt 304 V8 engine with about 3000 miles on it. Previous owner stated the odometer had 22,000 on it when she had the engine completely rebuilt costing her $1,800. It now shows 25,025 miles, which I feel sure is 125,025 miles. I just changed the oil and filter. The oil that came out of it looked new. It has the blue dash pad and the Levi's rear seat. Previous owner said that she took it to the paint shop with only the drivers seat in it and it was stolen while at the body/paint shop, so she bought the two high-back blue seats that are in it now. They are not Levi's seats. Unfortunately, she had some really bad luck when bringing the Jeep home from the paint shop. A deer ran out in front of her and she subsequently swerved and hit the ditch resulting in the Jeep being turned up on the drivers side. She had the Jeep towed home where it sat for almost 2 years before I bought it. She stated that it really scared her and it was a miracle that she wasn't injured really bad, since she was thrown out and had no desire to get back in it. Luckily it only rolled partially on the drivers side and wound up back on its wheels. I have put a lot of new parts on it to get it roadworthy again. I drained all the old gas out of it and blew all the lines out with an air hose and replaced any that were dry rotted. Some of the parts include a good used set of chrome Jeep wheels with brand new 30x9.50x15 all terrain tires (one of the rear wheels were bent and all the tires were dry rotted and about slick anyway), new battery, fuel pump, water outlet, mechanical gauges, Bestop bikini top, windshield, master cylinder and seat covers for the front seats. Cleaned up the wiring under the hood and dash. The Jeep has an aftermarket ignition switch. It has all the seat belts in it, front and rear. The Jeep runs and drives good as is. Lights work, fuel gauge, speedometer, oil pressure and temperature gauges work. It will need a signal light switch. All the 4-wheel drive works as it should. Transfer case, manual lock out hubs, transmission and clutch are all smooth. It has disc brakes on the front with new pads. The rear brakes were good as is. This Jeep is very solid. It has no frame rust at all and the body has only a couple bubbles on the passengers side fender. The body is virtually rust free, but it does have some dents, with the worst on the drivers side in front of the rear tire. It has a small one at the rear of the wheel opening and also at the front drivers side near the dash. The window frame has a dent at the drivers side also. The Jeep can be driven as is or taken to another body shop and have the dents repaired and painted again. Dents can be fixed a lot easier than rust. Dash is not cracked at all. Jeep does not leak, smoke or rattle at all. Runs good, brakes are manual disc and work good. It has headers and side exhaust that sound awesome. Please look at all the pics. I tried to describe the Jeep as best as possible. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I can help with shipping. I have 2 that I use often and can furnish the winning bidder with a quote if needed. If you have feedback less than 10 please contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Nothing personal, but zero feedback bidders have cost me a lot of money on re-listing fees. Take a look at my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. I am in the process of uploading more pics.
