My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Saab 9-3 Linear with 144k miles and the desirable 5 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Saab. The silver finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The worst I can say about the exterior is a dent on the RF fender lip and the left corner of the plastic lower lip is broken (I've caught quite a few lip spoilers on parking blocks and such myself over the years). Overall, not too bad for a 10+ year old car. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Saab 9-3 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The interior shows just normal wear for a Saab of this age and mileage. Some of the buttons are rubbed a bit. The dash cup holder won't close. The shifter boot is missing (presumably was torn like most) and the recline knob for the drivers seat is broken off. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and works well. The speakers sound good and there are steering wheel audio controls, too. The information center isn't all pixelated, like most...you can actually read it. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. I can hear and feel noticeable wear in the front bushings, which is normal at this age. However, she feels solid and confident on the road. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine makes good power and keeps perfect temperature. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. These cars are fun to drive and also get remarkable fuel economy. The information center shows an average fuel economy of over 27mpg currently. The clutch engages smoothly and doesn't slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Saab has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of April, 2017. Despite it being currently inspected, I would replace the front bushings asap. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Saab 9-3 Linear with 144k miles and the desirable 5 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Saab. The silver finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The worst I can say about the exterior is a dent on the RF fender lip and the left corner of the plastic lower lip is broken (I've caught quite a few lip spoilers on parking blocks and such myself over the years). Overall, not too bad for a 10+ year old car. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Saab 9-3 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The interior shows just normal wear for a Saab of this age and mileage. Some of the buttons are rubbed a bit. The dash cup holder won't close. The shifter boot is missing (presumably was torn like most) and the recline knob for the drivers seat is broken off. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and works well. The speakers sound good and there are steering wheel audio controls, too. The information center isn't all pixelated, like most...you can actually read it. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully.
Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. I can hear and feel noticeable wear in the front bushings, which is normal at this age. However, she feels solid and confident on the road. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine makes good power and keeps perfect temperature. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. These cars are fun to drive and also get remarkable fuel economy. The information center shows an average fuel economy of over 27mpg currently. The clutch engages smoothly and doesn't slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Saab has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of April, 2017. Despite it being currently inspected, I would replace the front bushings asap. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
